Catching up.

I haven't posted, or even scanned, any of my pictures in a long time. I just now finally did that, and ended up scanning about 20 days worth. Unfortunately, I have no idea what order some of them are supposed to be in. I guessed their days, and saved them to my folder. Here are some of them:

There were so many I didn't want to really edit any of them. The last is a grid drawing of the friends' profile pictures who were online, if you're curious.

Day 49

Learning to draw people in the proportionality from the videogame Brink.

It wasn't intended to be a great final product, don't worry. Just learning how to do it for something coming up.

Day 43

Besides the fact that this dude looks like a crack mugger who just injected heroin into his eyeballs, I added a lot of frustration into the composition. Most of the energy points down, besides a little bit escaping from his mohawk, which is just enough to balance the energy such that it rests around his eyes, such that the energy in it is really playing tug-of-war.

What? I told you he looked like a crack mugger who just injected heroin into his eyeballs! Did you not believe me? Haha!

Soo, yeah. Thanks for viewing!

Day 38

I keep drawing and not bothering to post... nevertheless, I'm now posting day 38-41.

This is a gymnast who, in the photo, was holding himself up with two rings on ropes. Strong dude. Anyway, on the right side you see the underlying structure that I traced from the photo. On the left, the finished product that I traced on the structure.

Day 31

I drew this yesterday, though I admittedly forgot to actually post it yesterday. Drawing it is what matters, though.

It's on tracing paper (it's not a trace, though) which I used to create an underlying structure that I drew the finished product on top of. The following is the underlying structure:

It's mirrored, though, as you can see.

Day 30

Day 30. Quite a bit! This is inspired by parkour I was doing today, analyzing the method of a good jump from stationary.

Day 28

Chell, the protagonist from the games "Portal" and "Portal 2."

This is mostly not a trace, too!

Day 21

This is a joke about the game QWOP. If you haven't played it, do so and laugh your head off. Afterwards you will feel like an accomplished individual for being able to walk.

And there you have it. Thanks for viewing!

Day 20

I finally got this scanned in!

I later did some edits, and here's the edited version.

Day 18

This is an idea that I've had for a couple days... It's my invention of an underwater suit that would be armored and enhance strength, as well as simply being air-tight.

Thanks for viewing! As always, feedback would be appreciated! Have an awesome day.

Day 16

Just a sketch of a female face. Since my scanner is back up, I did a graphite sketch. Unfortunately, the drawing didn't turn out real well. The eye of the viewer's left and the mouth are kinda messed up. I fixed it a bit with photoshop, but it's still messed.

I hope that you like it! I think that it's okay, but could be better... a good bit better.

Day 15

This is a "Big Daddy" and the "Little Sister" that it protects from Bioshock.

Day 13

This is going to have a bit more content than my average post, especially since all of it was created within the last 24 hours. The first sketch you'll see is something that I was drawing purely by description and suggested adjustment from a friend. I like it a lot, but it's not exactly like what the picture was "Supposed" to (not saying that it's incorrect.) Anyway, here is that:

I love the way that one came out; I think it's a really great work and I'm quite happy with it. Nevertheless, me and my friend both wanted me to do something that was closer to the original picture. So, using the original photo as a reference, I came up with the following. I'm going to post it as the sketch, then colored hair, then the almost finished one. There will be one more after these.

At this point, I'd basically finished it, but the lips were lacking correct color or any detail. So, finally, the finished version:

Thanks for viewing, I hope that you like this! Feedback would be very appreciated!

Smudgy ink tough soldier

Future space soldier with awesome beastliness and pownage. I did this a while ago... I did it immediately (literally) after doing "Blackness." Here it are!

He has space-age armor plating equipped, a helmet, a ammo bag on his left thigh, his left arm is robotic (though I left the flesh sketch underneath the robot arm... *whistles*), and he has two pistols or submachine guns which he just dropped the clips out of to reload. OH! And the armor on his right arm has been mostly torn off. Don't mess with this guy.

I hope that you like it, thanks for viewing!

Blackness

I just got Photoshop Extended CS5, and I absolutely love it. Anyway, here's my first piece with it:

It is an abstract that I came up with before I got out of bed this morning. It's a bunch of people getting blasted out of a blurry black square into light, with blackness streaking past them. It can represent either God's saving man from the fall, but the emotion in it was more based off of man falling.

Another graphite female portrait

Hey everyone! This is the second draft, having edited the chin and cheek. Not perfect, but pretty good I think. I hope you like it!

Yet Another Sketch

Another face that I edited on my computer, getting rid of shading that took hours... I did this drawing while in a car for hours. I hope that you like it!

Yes, I actually put the grid there on purpose. I liked the effect...

A bunch of sketches and an eye study.

A bunch of guns, some sailboats, and an eye study. Enjoy!
