Webcomic Concept Art

I have been working on designing characters for a web-comic. I have not yet created a plot (it will be plot based), and am simply working on the characters so far. I have two sketches, one with coloring. One is the armor of the main character, and the other is the face of the female scientist who is a second main character. It will be in a science fiction setting.

Here is the armor:
I know that the legs are very poorly proportioned; it's just meant to be ideas.

Here is the scientist:

This is only for face and such. Not for anything past the neck.
This is all that I have designed so far, but I will be working more on this. Any input on what hairstyle the scientist should have would be appreciated.
And here is a sketch I made of a troll, just for the fun of it.
A big feller who looks like he eats rocks in his spare time. And elves.

Ghost Painting

This is a (virtual) painting which I've been working on for a couple weeks, and tonight I spent a few hours and finished it. It is a ghost, heavily based off of the Ghost of Christmas Future, and Marley's Ghost from A Christmas Carol. Its coloring is the basic ghost look, like Marley, as well as the chains. But the dark, hooded, imposing look is taken from the Ghost of Christmas Future. As I often do, I will show the sketch and then the final version.

The following is a video demonstration of my new Wacom Bamboo Fun. Also, there is a sneak peak of an upcoming drawing (like anybody cares).

A new drawing.

This is another random drawing which I did today. I traced another person's drawing, and then added detail. Here I post the sketch, the finished product, and even a video of me drawing it. It did take about an hour to draw, but I sped it up 16 times so that the video is only 3.5 minutes long.

New self portrait.

This self portrait took a while. I spent a good couple hours on it, and really like the result.

Here is the picture which I took of myself to base the drawing off of:
Here is the sketch which I traced from the original. I used this, sometimes consulting the original to help interpret it, to draw the finished product. Some line bubbles represent dark areas, while others represent details - such as eyes.

Next is the finished product. This took quite a while and I really like it.

Fourth and Final Edit.

I have recently drawn a picture of the side-profile of a woman. I have posted three renditions thus far. The first was a simple sketch with a lot of problems. The next added shading and detail. The next corrected shading and detail; as well as removing lines to increase the naturalness of the overall look. I have now touched it up (basically just fixing her torso shape), and have scanned it in. On this post, I will show all four renditions for comparison; in chronological order.

Just one note before I finish; I would love feedback on my drawings. Not just "oh that picture is awesome!" but negative feedback as well. I appreciate criticism; as it helps me to become a better artist. So, if you have any thoughts on any of my posts, I would love comments :)
